You can program, for example, four different times: 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, and 21:00 by holding down the numbers, and then you can decide the portions from 0 to 9, which usually dispenses about 10 food pellets per portion. It's very intuitive and doesn't even require instructions for people like me who find things a bit difficult to understand. It's great.
